Quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE) are the cornerstones of our business. When it comes to QHSE management we set ourselves the highest standards. The key to maintaining those standards lies in the excellence of our people and the quality of our systems and processes.

As Qualitek employees, we are aware of our QHSE responsibilities. Whether executive, technical, or advisory, everyone at Qualitek understands the role they play in creating and maintaining a culture of quality.
Continuous improvement is a priority. For our staff this means a focus on training, education, and development. For our systems and processes this means effective quality control via audit and review.
The quality system is monitored at the highest levels of our organization and is utilized in supplying the statistical data necessary for the continual improvement of our organization.
The quality system includes formally documented policies, procedures, and objectives to respond to specific requirements of Project and the overall Qualitek commitment.

Quality Management System Manual

Qualitek QMS manual defines the organization, practices and procedures that are used to ensure that all aspect of the Quality Management System conform to internal and external (customer, regulatory and other statutory body) requirements.
The system is designed, developed, implemented, and monitored to demonstrate the methods and practices utilized to ensure compliance, as stated above. To this end, elements regarding system, process and service quality are designed and developed to comply with the latest edition of ISO 9001 and are supported by detailed procedures, work process diagrams and instructions, where deemed necessary.
All activities described herein shall be in strict alignment with and compliance to Qualitek Policies and Procedures.
Qualitek provides Inspection, Expediting, Quality Assurance, procurement services, supply, and secondment of technical personnel to all types of industries and organizations.

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

At the highest level of the organization, Qualitek is committed to environmental protection and the health, safety, and wellbeing of each one of its employees.
Qualitek office shall work in strict compliance with HSSE policies and procedures which will be supplemented by appropriate documents to address local statutory or regulatory requirements.
At all levels of responsibility, all employees and contractors are responsible for protecting the health, safety, and well-being of themselves and others which are impacted by their work activities.
Employees and contractors working or visiting external sites must always familiarise themselves with the client and/or supplier’s site-specific requirements and comply with these directives prior to starting work.

All employees and contractors must familiarise themselves with this document, the company standards, and all applicable local requirements. Should there be any doubt or concerns, then guidance should be sought from the designated Manager or Safety Representative.
Upon commencement of employment, all personnel – both employees and contractors are provided with a copy of the Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) Handbook.
Qualitek ensure that all personnel have the necessary qualifications, competence, and experience to carry out the role that they have been assigned.

 

This document is meant to ensure that:

  • The requirements for office work environments, external work environments, and expatriate assignments and/or international travel are readily understood.
  • Basic roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and that expectations are established with
    respect to how employees and contractors are always to perform their work and behave.
  • The key issues of concern with respect to Health, Safety, Security, and the Environment are
    understood by all.

Qualitek recognizes that the company’s HSSE objectives will only be achieved through the active participation of all personnel in promoting safe working practices throughout all its global operations.
Effective communications are essential, and the company will allow for and provide regular forums to enable employees and contractors to discuss issues of concern and make proposals to improve safety performance. Designated Health and Safety Officers are identified to all employees and contractors during their induction.
